Power over Ethernet support
Reduce the cost and complexity of camera installation with Power over Ethernet support. The VB-C50FSi is powered directly from the LAN cable when connected to a PoE-compliant network. No AC mains power source is required at the site. This also enables versatile camera placement.

Powerful zoom capability
The genuine Canon 26x power zoom lens with 12x digital zoom produces close-up images. Exceptional detail ensures a high level of surveillance from a distance. A 400K pixel CCD provides clear and accurate viewing, without any loss of detail.

Smooth full motion video
Capture images at up to 25 frames per second for smooth full motion video. A 768 x 576
pixel resolution guarantees high quality transmission. The video quality and frame rate can be set freely to suit the network bandwidth producing natural images. Reach up to 50 users simultaneously while ensuring a clear and sharp picture.

Excellent low-light capability
The low-light capability allows full colour operation down to 1 lux. A Night Mode feature captures monochrome images even in complete darkness when used with external infrared lighting.

Optional audio input
Send audio signals over the network via the optional VB-EX50 Multi-Terminal Module. Broadcast a warning to intruders or a welcome to visitors.

This all-in-one solution ensures low cost security monitoring. Both the fixed-mount Network Camera and web server are housed in a compact and stylish unit. Start streaming live video straight away for high performance with a minimum investment.

Simple operation
Remote control software ensures easy use. Operation is via Canon's WebView viewer (PC only) or via Java (PC, Mac and Unix).

Fully featured
The Motion Detection feature can be used to send an email alert, record images or activate external devices whenever motion is detected. A 26-pin multi-connector allows easy connection to peripheral devices, via Canon's VB-EX50 Multi-Terminal Module. This includes sensors, a door lock or connection to an external monitor.
