Canon VC-C4
Canon's Pan/Tilt/Zoom (P/T/Z) camera, the VC-C4 combines great looks, compact design, and ease-of-use never before available. The VC-C4, (backwardly compatible to Canon's previous models), is great news for users who want a reliable P/T/Z camera they can count on for videoconferencing, distance learning, general video and even enhanced security/monitoring.
The VC-C4's shooting parameters can be adjusted and customized for almost any environment. A wide range of on-screen controls and a 32-button I/R controller makes it easier than ever to get the shots you want. Plus up to nine cameras can be daisy chained and operated from one (addressable) I/R controller or, via RS-232, controlled from your PC.

Canon's digital signal processing system reproduces rich, smooth video images and precise focal control. A high-performance 16x zoom allows a wider viewing angle, with a large-aperture f/1.4 lens for optimum brightness. The VC-C4 camera pans to +/-100° and tilts -30° to 90°, while the VC-C4R ceiling suspension model pans to +/-170° and tilts from +10° to -90°. As both cameras are positioned in the middle of the system, this ensures high-speed, stable and precise camera movement.
Up to 9 VC-C4/VC-C4R systems can be controlled simultaneously from one PC, for use in a large conference room. The cameras can be 'cascade 'connected in order via the R-S232C cord and then programmed for individual control. Also up to 9 pre-set positions as well as AE information can be stored easily. Just one touch of the wireless controller allows you to focus quickly on any subject.
